It seems as though every time I go to write something as a way to express my thoughts and feelings, it begins with “life is confusing.” and it ends there.
For some reason I just don’t think that’s a good thing…. as true as it may be.
I feel like I should have at least some direction in some aspect of life but I don’t really.

I keep meaning to post some pictures of the apartment, but I just never get around to it. One day, however, you’ll see pictures of Rachel (our apartment! yeah, she has a name!)…and all of the other exciting things that are going on down here in west Tennessee. One day…. but not today.My time is brief because I have to leave for class in 15 minutes.
But anyway, umm… Saturday was Initiation!!! So now I am officially a Kappa Delta!!!!! We had a Go Trip meeting last night… I leave for Asia in something like 6 or 7 weeks. It’s so much closer than I thought!! So weird. We’re going to start meeting weekly now though, so hopefully we’ll start learning more about what we’ll actually be doing there and we’ll all get to know eachother better too.
umm…what else? I can’t remember what else. oh well, I need to leave anyway. So maybe I’ll write more later.

It’s been roughly 3 years since I updated this thing (okay, maybe weeks…technicalities!)
Anywho, umm… j-term finally ended and I had a very nice, very short, 4 day break. Classes resumed, but only for two days because on Friday last week Union decided the snow was too much and classes were cancelled. So that was fun…we played in the snow! even though there wasn’t much of it 
So today concludes the first week of the spring semester.. it’s not too bad so far. I’m taking 18 hours, but so far it seems bearable. too early to say easy. According to everyone else my hardest class will be Microbiology but so far it really doesn’t seem too bad. Everything else is relatively easy, or at least interesting enough that I don’t bore myself to sleep.
So… tonight I get initiated!!! which means I will officially be a Kappa Delta, and I’ll get to know all the secrets! thats pretty much the biggest news of the week.
Maybe I’ll try to write more later, or more frequently. whichever. I’m at work, so I must go now. we’re closing soon! hooray!
